The Scottish Tattoo convention is one I look forward to every year, and not only because it’s close to home! There are so many amazing artists from all over the world who attend, as well as amazing home grown talent. On top of this the show has great stalls and exhibitions, fun for all the family!
My favourite vendor at the convention has to be Tatty Bon, everything is cute with a giant helping of sass. I’m in love with the little bitchy hearts and the faux taxidermy is amazing and with everything being fully custom you can create the necklace or fade dead animal of your dreams!
Miss Dixibelle always brings good hair game, the mobile vintage styling salon creates the most incredible vintage hair styles and they always have the cutest accessories!
Now onto the main event! I love finding new artists and my wishlist has exploded after this convention! Most of my favourites are tattooists I’ve followed for years but it’s just cemented my need to get tattooed by them.
Tracy D is a tattooist based in London, is her work is breathtaking! Her line work is perfect, I love the have sleeve of Persephone she tattooed on Floral Menagerie.
Anyone that tattoos adorable little unicorns is going to be amazing in my book! Sam Whitehead tattoos the cutest little things and on top of that she also sells these adorable prints.
Tiny Miss Becca has always been on my wishlist of tattooists, I love her work, her animals are realistic but stylised and adorable to boot! She tattooed the cute munchy cat from a photo and added a little bell just to make it that little bit cuter.
Charlotte Ross creates the most beautiful water colour tattoos, at the convention she tattooed a galaxy print kitty onto an already full leg of her work at the convention.
As well as being an awesome artist Darryl Mullen is also super nice. His work is traditional and flawless, this ariel dancer has to be one of my favourites.
