Double Denim

Sometimes double denim is not a choice, it’s essential.

I have a tendency to make more effort with my hair when my roots are too big to deal with, this is when my scarf collection comes in very handy! A rolled fringe is possibly my favourite ‘up do’, easy and has the biggest impact. It also doesn’t budge in the rain, perfect for temperamental Scottish weather! I had to bust out my first Jump from Paper bag, I love mint and denim, such a perfect combo and I love all the attention this bag gets…I mean I still don’t believe it’s real and I own it! These distressed jeans from GAP are fast becoming my most worn pair but to be honest I am a little ashamed, I mean in my youth I did a DIY number on any denim that even came near me and I BOUGHT these pre ripped?!

*oh the shame*

For this reason I am hauling ass to the ‘Love your Clothes’ event on Sunday. Scottish designers Nikki McWilliams, ChouChou, Jennie Lööf and Danni McWilliams will be holding workshops all day and will be on hand to help you re-love and reclaim your clothes. So grab the items that have seen better days and let some of the best in Scottish design talent show you how to make the most out of your clothes.

See you there! <3

You look fantastic- I need to invest in more headscarves to create an awesome bow. Pre-ripped just means half the distressed work is done for you- so not cheating just give you a head start 😉

Loving this look! I really need to get more good denim into my wardrobe. Also your hair looks fab. It's amazing how adding a scarf can take a bad hair day and make it a great one. Hx
