Spring is just around the corner and that usually means a big spring clean.
Why not go a little further and spring clean your decor? I am not into redecorating for every season (who has the time? or the money?) but I do like to add a few twists to brighten up my home at the start of every season. You will be surprised how little it takes to give your home a complete new feel without breaking out the tin of paint.
- Flowers are the easiest and cheapest way to brighten up your home. Grab a bunch from your local florist and ad in all of your favourite flowers. Bouquet from Floral Menagerie
- Add a cute vintage twist with this Crosley record player from Shop Hearts
- Use a chic stool as a corner table or a bed side table, this white one from Bo Concept in Glasgow would look perfect with a stack of books and some flowers
- Cute cushions will give an instant lift, this pineapple from Silken Favours will brighten up any room.
- Set the mood with a statement floor lamp from Bo Concept Glasgow
- Everyone loves biscuits, remind them who’s in charge with this wall hanging from Nikki McWilliams
- Time to dust off those winter rugs and get something fresh on the floor, I love that this rug from Bo Concept in Glasgow has a tile print.
- Having something re-upholstered can really bring a piece of furniture back to life. Grab some fabric from Timorous Beasties to create a statement piece.
- Cute and to the point, this banner from Nikki McWilliams will get a smile from everyone
- Scent evokes memory so make some new ones whilst your home is filled with the smell of watermelons, perfect for spring/summer. Pillar candle from Shearer Candles
