And then I stumbled across The Vegan Kind. Now this is a beauty box with a difference, not only is everything vegan and cruelty-free, most of it is from small businesses and you know how I love to shop local. There are also no pesky tiny samples in sight! Now not only do they do amazing vegan beauty, they also do a vegan lifestyle box that’s predominately food, and that’s definitely something I can get behind! So here is my review of my first vegan beauty box.
To use run your bath, halfway through pop one of these beauties in, let the tub fill up and then step in and soak. Leaving the bag in depending on how strong you like your brew.
This is saving my skin at the moment. It’s not winter but it’s certainly not spring and it’s playing havoc with my skin. A gentle cleanser is that one thing that’s near on impossible to find, let me introduce you to White Rabbit Skincare. Handmade in Scotland this little tub packs a punch! Use a pea-sized amount, rub all over your dry face (yes even on your eyes!), work into your makeup, even waterproof mascara stands no chance! Get a warm damp facecloth and wipe off the balm, repeat until all gone, rinse your face, pat dry and voila! Fresh Faced Beauty.
I’ve never been a fan of a face scrub, my skin is super sensitive and it doesn’t always end well. Mild dermabrasion face and body scrub is a little too intense to use on my face but it’s worked wonders on the rest of me! Scaly legs be gone and a tiny amount of this stuff goes a long way so get in the shower, scrub up and rinse off for some silky smooth skin.
If you follow me on Twitter you will already have seen me raving about these! In my experience nail varnish remover wipes don’t work, you need like 7 to take one nail off, but no more! These babies from Fresh Therapies are toxin free and smell citrusy and sweet and one little sachet takes off all 10 nails! Perfect for holidays, work emergencies and when you just can’t be bothered using liquid remover.

This sounds like such a nice beauty box! I eat a lot of vegan food and I want to try and change to more vegan/organic beauty products as well. Love the sound of the moisturiser.
