What’s better than candy coloured hair? Cruelty-free candy coloured hair!
Last year saw Blow Finnieston become Manic Panic’s first European Colour Asylum. Creating trends has become Blow’s forte, with braid bars, unicorn hair and THOSE glitter roots under their belt they were the perfect fit for Manic Panic. The brand has never been one to conform, emerging from the punk scene in the 70’s they were at the forefront of the DIY scene, they helped light a fire under punks ass and pushed coloured hair from punk to high fashion, I for one can’t think of a better partnership, can you? The main reason I’ve always loved Manic Panic is their clear message on animal testing, the brand has won awards for PETA & the sisters punk band (founders Tish & Snooky) still plays at animal charity events.
So with that in mind Blow Finnieston teamed up with photographer Martin Barker to create a fun-loving retro style shoot…with all of our favourite pets of course! They say you should never work with children or animals but these pets were better behaved than most of the models!
On July 9th 2016 Blow will be opening their Shawlands salon. The space includes a training academy where they will provide training to stylists from around the country, with some courses available to customers to perfect their at home braids & blow drys. The Salon will also boast some new and exclusive offers, like the Blow afternoon tea & Blowdry! So keep the 9th in your diary and get down to Blow for the ultimate in hair pampering.
