Wedding styling and The Glasgow Wedding Collective

I never thought I’d be ‘one of those girls’, you know the type, always planning imaginary weddings…well after my own I sort of turned into one! So I decided to put my new found obsession to good use, starting my very own wedding styling service! Wedding’s by Honey Pop will have it’s own shiny new website very soon but if you have any questions/enquiries before that just drop me an email.

When I was planning my own wedding the Glasgow Wedding Collective was the fair I was most excited about, I even met my photobooth there! When they asked me to attend their event as a stylist I was over the moon. We got fed lovely treats from Three Sisters Bake and looked through all the beautiful gowns and accessories.

Then it was down to business! We met our models and the lovely girls from AMM who would transform the models in to bridal beauties. For my bride’s look I wanted timeless with a twist, I chose a strapless tea length gown with beautiful embellishment, killer heels in pillerbox red and a delicate embellished head band. I wanted the make up to be simple and dewy but with a strong red lip to compliment the shoes. Victory rolls were an obvious choice for me, the rest of the hair was left down and wavy for a more relaxed feel. The bouquet was perfect, I love that it looked so homegrown and the roses were a dusky lilac, the perfect colour!

Head over to Glasgow Wedding Collective to find out about their next event.
