roses are pink

Moving house sucks. I mean really sucks, and packing is the worst but it does give you an opportunity to reassess your wardrobe.

I hadn’t worn this dress in YEARS, I’m not even joking, I hate throwing clothes out so I tend to hoard, and this little number was just sitting at the back of my wardrobe, forgotten and lonely. I’ve worn it probably twice before so as far as I’m concerned it’s like a whole new dress. I decided to opt for super casual, the dress did have shoulder pads so I cut them out and popped a little white sleeveless shirt underneath. I recently got this pink vintage jumper and the boxy shape is amazing, the colour is so pale it’s almost cream. It pretty much matches my new slouch boots from The Style Edit, so comfy and they’re faux leather so vegan friendly!

So in love with the boots and the jumper – the colour is so cute! I'm so terrible when it comes to hoarding clothes, I've had two massive clear outs this summer and my wardrobe is still full of clothes I never ever wear but I'm still clinging on to! I keep telling myself that I'm keeping all my old clothes to customise and wear but I don't seem to be getting anywhere! xx

Oh, I hear you! I'm currently packing for a move from Sydney to Melbourne and I'm going a little bit crazy! I am loving rediscovering things though, as you mentioned. That dress is awesome!

It is hard to have a clear out, but I always give my clothes to charity so feel like I'm doing a good deed, it helps trust me! xxx

Customising clothes is super fun, I always try and do it but sometimes there is no time, pick your favourite 5 and then get your girlfriends to do the same, get some supplies and have a crafting night! I promise it will be super fun xxx
