Kick start everyday

I hate diets. Not only do I hate the fact that they promise ridiculous things “lose a stone in 7 days”, or that diet foods contain so many chemicals they are bad for you. I hate that they tell you not to eat things. like cutting cake out of your life is going to make you super fit and skinny and never have any problems again.
NO just NO.


So I have decided that whilst never ever going on a diet I am going to eat healthier and I hope you guys join me! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so Instead of eating cereal or bacon sandwiches everyday (note: there are days when a bacon sandwich is needed like a rainy sunday when you are forced to leave the house) I will be having a green smoothie for breakfast.
I LOVE food so I’m not planning on cutting chocolate or pizza out of my life but I could do with eating more varied veg. I will admit they do take a bit of getting used to, I have made a couple that have tasted awful, but I still drank them, think of it as natures medicine. Oh and it was coconut water that made it taste disgusting…it’s super yucky, luckily mango masks the taste perfectly!

I will be sharing my favourite recipes with you and if you have any you think are amazing let me know! But leave out the pineapple I don’t want my throat to close up THANKS <3

Today’s smoothie:

1/2 pink grapefruit
1 celery stick
1 banana
handful of spinach
some water to make the blending easier

    in aus we have boost juice bars that serve non-fat smoothies and juices, my favourite green smoothie is mango, passionfruit, coconut milk, coconut water, spinach and banana! x

    Do you have a juicer? It's a lot nicer than blending. A nice combo is Kale, celery, cucumber, apple and some lemon and fresh ginger.
