Feline Fierce – Black Cat Halloween Make Up Tutorial

Halloween is one of my favourite holidays, I love everything from the insane spiderweb decorations, trick or treating & watching horror movies every night.

But with the arrival of an ever-present social media, we are under growing pressure to make our costume the most original, the most creative. What happened to last-minute Halloween parties? The ones when you need a costume 15 minutes before you go out?

Well, that’s exactly what this Black Cat Halloween Make Up tutorial is! This is simple but effective & you can go as simple or as extravagant as you want. What’s more Halloweeny than a Black Cat? Just make sure you befriend a witch at your party! Extra points if it’s one of the Sanderson Sisters.

Black Cat Halloween Make Up Tutorial

With this easy cat makeup tutorial, you can be ready to party in no time at all! Follow these simple steps for a stress-free Halloween.

Step 1

Do your base make up like you usually would, your foundation, concealer and brows. You can set your face with power at this point or go in with a setting spray at the end of the look.

Step 2

The Eye make up can be as exaggerated or as simple as you like, just make sure you extend your eyeliner on the inner corner down and exaggerate your cat eye flick. I went in with the bronze shadow, before applying my liner, creating an exaggerated smoky eye that blended into my nose & cheek contour. I then used that as a base for adding my eyeliner. Add some false lashes to make the eye really stand out.

Step 3

The cat nose & lip is the easiest way to make your look stand out! I used the felt liner for this as it was easier to control. Outline your nostrils and create a very subtle heart shape on your nose & colour in with the liner. Then overdraw your top lip & extend with the liner. I’ve added some lighter powder above & either side to create that puckered look. Use your favourite berry or nude lip on the bottom lip but make sure not to run your lips together whilst the liner & lipstick dry as it can get a little messy! Pop on some whiskers and your Halloween ready!
