May 28, 2019

What to buy a new mum. That is a hard question. And to be honest, one I didn’t know the answer to. Until one of my best friends gave birth!

Then all I wanted to do what buy her beautiful gifts and amazing skincare to pamper her. So have a wee look through my list, with gifts from £17 to £200 it has something for everyones budget.

What To Buy a New Mum – That’s not Baby Clothes

This body oil is the perfect start to any day. With lemongrass and marjoram essential oils the scent will stay on the skin all day, so it’s not only moisturising it will smell gorgeous all day long. Helpful if you’re running after a baby all day!

Evolve Hylaronic serum

This serum is a godsend for tired and dehydrated skin. With 200mg hyaluronic acid per bottle, proven to hydrate skin from within and plump up fine lines and wrinkles. Organic pomegranate extract softens and protects.

Karen Mabon Pjs

I will forever love Karen Mabon PJs. They are luxurious, comfy and the prints are to die for! Plus they are totally acceptable day wear. Nipping to the shops in your pjs never looked so chic.

Solstice Body

Solstice Intimates make the most incredible underwear. Including a nursing bodysuit that comes in a variety of beautiful prints.

Skye Candles

Nothing beats a new candle and these ethical soy wax candles are poured in Scotland and smell incredible. The raspberry and white ginger candle is by far my favourite scent.

Freya IM jewellery

Beautiful brass brooches and earrings from this Glaswegian designer are sure to make your new baby mamas day.

Lucky Cloud Skincare

Skin can get dry for everyone and new mums are no exception. This soothing balm is made in Scotland, contains lavender and rose geranium and smells delightful. Not only will it help with sore and cracked skin, it will also help with redness and irritation.

I hope you enjoyed my list on what to buy a new mum! Header image from Solstice Intimates.
