Is this the return of the power suit?
There is something powerful about putting on a suit.
Maybe it’s the connotations that come with wearing a suit. It’s seen as a status symbol, expensive suit = high powered job or influential job. To be perfectly honest I never thought I’d own one, not that I haven’t had high powered jobs, but working in Fashion has given me more leeway with my wardrobe. And with that I’ve never really had any inkling to wear a suit, the dark serious colours didn’t really speak to me, I always associate them with serious jobs, jobs that aren’t any fun.
Never being forced to wear a suit gives me a great perspective for styling them, it’s like having a whole fashion genre I’ve never explored, and that doesn’t happen very often. Having donned my first suit I know that it won’t be my last!

This suit is badass and feminine – in other words right up my street! I love the way you have styled this and the colour is to die!
