Stuck in a style rut?

It happens to everyone and there is only one way to fix it.

Get out of your comfort zone!

I feel like I’ve been living in a dress/boot combo and it’s put me in a serious wardrobe downer. I have loads of amazing clothes so why am I sticking to the same silhouette? I was needing some inspiration and quick so I went on a massive Pinterest binge. That place pretty much has everything, and after a few hours of searching, scrolling and obsessing I decided the best plan of action would be to pull out the items in my wardrobe that I love, but never wear.

So now in my wardrobe there is a section of clothing that I pick one item from on a near daily basis (sometimes you just need that dress/boot combo you’ve been living in), and style my look around it. So today I picked out this navy jumpsuit.

I’ve worn it once (can you believe that?!) and wanted to style it in a laid back Parisienne sort of way. Although I’m sure I’ll still never get that effortless dressing thing nailed. I went for a stripe tshirt, golf shoes and a grey bag to keep the look casual. I’m really enjoying this little wardrobe challenge and I hope it gives you some ideas of how to mix up your style using what is already in your wardrobe.

This look is perfect. I love everything about it. I’m in a totally different kind of style rut. Maternity clothes are my enemy right now. Everything’s comfortable and sensible, I can’t find anything cute or that reflects my style.
