My Favourite Accessories

Accessories have always played a big part in my wardrobe, but gone are the days when I opted for costume jewellery! These days my favourite accessories are ones that are timeless and interchangeable.

I’ve always loved delicate jewellery, and when I found these pieces from Thomas Sabo I knew they would be a prefect addition to my jewellery collection.

Now I’m not saying I don’t love statement jewellery, I mean have you seen my earring collection?! But I do think delicate jewellery is easier to incorporate into your wardrobe. It’s easier to layer and with chokers being in trend it’s the best time to double, or triple up on your necklaces.

Having some simple jewellery at your disposal makes accessorising so much easier. There isn’t much a simple necklace doesn’t go with! I love this root chakra necklace, it’s so delicate but it reminds me to stay grounded and the beautiful design makes a mini statement all by itself.

“The root chakra provides the foundation on which we build our life. It supports us in growing and feeling safe into exploring all the aspects of life. It is related to our feeling of safety and security, whether it’s physical or regarding our bodily needs or metaphorical regarding housing and financial safety. The root chakra is where we ground ourselves into the earth and anchor our energy into the manifest world.”

Layered with a wrap around choker it gives the delicate necklace some balance, I always think with a deep neckline you need a couple of layered necklaces to add that little extra something to your outfit. Talking about adding a little something extra, did you know Thomas Sabo offer free engraving? My silver disk ring is engraved with initials, it gives it such a personal touch and would make a really cute gift for someone!

I can’t really talk about my favourite accessories without talking about these white cat eye sunglasses! They make a statement with the cut away lens but are such a classic shape that they would suit anyone. I’ve always avoided white sunglasses as I thought I was too pale to wear them, so I’m glad I took a risk and ordered these.

I’m loving suits for autumn and something as simple as a pink suit can really be brought to life with the right accessories!
