What’s the simplest way to incorporate your pjs into your wardrobe?
Why it’s the pyjama shirt obviously! Instead of going for a high street version of a “pyjama shirt” why don’t you invest in the real thing? Like a shirt from Karen Mabon!
If you follow my instagram you’ll notice that I practically haven’t had these Karen Mabon cats pyjamas off, I swear they go with everything!
The easiest way to incorporate the pyjama trend into your wardrobe is with the classic jeans & shirt combo. The added novelty of a silk pyjama shirt will add a cute kitsch element to an otherwise standard outfit. A silk shirt is really easy to dress up so here I decided to focus on more of a casual look, pink faux leather jacket, pink bag & grey boots, I like to keep the focus where it should be, on the shirt!
Dressing with a tonal theme in mind makes getting ready so my easier, pick a colour group and run with it, pink silk shirt obviously means pink accessories right? If you do decide to go with a theme but feel it’s a little too much for your taste then pare it down with denim & a dark boot, you can’t ever go wrong with a pair of high waisted jeans. EVER. Having a statement element to your outfit doesn’t mean your outfit has to be brash, feel confident in your bold outfit choice and have fun with it! Fashion is about expression!
Dress to make yourself happy, not anyone else.
